      Hi Jeri,

Why would you “throw the baby out with the bath water?” Just because there are people that name the name of Christ who abuse that name does not mean the belief of fundamentalism is wrong. I believe a christian should strive for holiness in every area of his life. What belief has the best way to excel in that holiness? Those who want to believe (faith) in being more like the world or those who want to be more like Christ and live holy lives? Jeri, you know my background. I come from a more laid back type of religion before my Free Presbyterian days and I can tell you it will not help you to grow as a christian. How many problems do you think are in the more laid back types of religion? Take a good look at their problems and expose them as well. I am not defending the abuses of fundamentalism. Those should be exposed. However, be careful that you are not hurting the holy cause of Christ, which is why true fundamentalism was started.
We are not to judge people on the outward appearance, but remember, the outward appearance reflects the inward beliefs.

      His extremely unworthy servant,
      Tim

Yeah, but Fundamentalism IS wrong. It’s horribly corrupt. And it has no intention of repenting.
